What Forge is
Forge is a web app for small trades businesses, run at forge.repair. You speak once on site: Forge writes the job record, files the photos against that job, and answers what you ask about it. It is built for plumbing, HVAC and electrical work, and its job is to stop the admin that starts at 9pm.
Who it's for
The owner-operator or small crew (1 to 5 people) still on the tools every day. If you have dispatchers, office staff, or need invoicing, payroll or QuickBooks sync, Forge is not built for you and does not pretend to be.
What's live today
Voice dictation on any job: speak, and the transcript lands in the job note. The model detects the language, so it works in six languages.
Photos attached to the job, not lost in a camera roll, with private signed-URL storage.
An AI co-pilot that knows the job it is attached to and answers plumbing, electrical and HVAC questions in plain trade language. The free plan includes 15 co-pilot answers a day; Pro is unlimited.
A public client booking page at forge.repair/b/<your handle>: a client submits a request there, the technician confirms it, and a job is created.
Two plans: Free ($0, no card, 15 co-pilot answers a day) and Pro ($49 a month, one price for the business, not per technician). The first 30 customers lock in a founding price of $29 a month.
What's not built yet
In the interest of not overselling: Forge does not do invoicing, payments, route optimisation, offline mode or AR guidance, and none of those are on the roadmap. The app and booking pages support six languages; the public landing page and auth emails are English-only today.
